Del's offspring continues to win at the shows. His newest Ch offspring is AB Take It To The Bank, "Teller" finished from puppy class for breeder/owner Wanda Pooley.

(Ch Reveille Hoo Wants Roses x Ch Sonbar's Brite Exoticredhead) Irish has produced specialty winners in each of her first 3 litters, including 2 from her first litter. Irish has an exciting show record:
1. Best in Sweepstakes and Best of winners, at 7 months of age, Greater Chicagoland Basenji Specialty, 1999
2. Group 1 winner (five times) at AKC shows
3. Top ten basenji, 1999 & 2000
4. Multiple group winner, Canada
5. Reserve best in Classic, a competiton for group 1 winners in Canada
Irish has OFA excellent hips, normal eyes
6. tied for top producing basenji female in 2003.
Her daughter, Ch Sonbar's Graceful Goddess is continuing her tradition of producing specialty winners.

Pictured,, below, with grandson, Trevor, at the Duluth K.C. show in July 02, Trevor and Gracie defeated 2 adults handlers and their puppies for his (Trevor's) first blue ribbon at a dog show. Trevor was 9 years old. Gracie finished her championship with a 5 point win on the Montana Circuit in September 03. Also, pictured below is Gracie moving. She is an exceptional mover, like her dam, Irish.
Gracie also has a best puppy in show win (AKC show), handled by Kari. Geracie has 13 Champion offspring, including the exceptional litter by Shadow. Sam and Sonar are her sons from that litter.
This is Champion Sonbar's Incadescent Icicle, AKA Glitter.she continues to produce some excellent puppies! Ron is her son. Gabby is her daughter.
She is one of the frozen semen produced litter. She is DNA tested clear of fanconi.
Her hips are OFA "good". Her eyes are
"normal".
Litter mate to Glitter and Id, At the left is Ch Sonbar's Imperial Ice, AKA, Bella. Bella is owned by Laura Caldwell and Sally Wuornos (me). She lives with Laura & Ruler. She was shown to all her points by her co owner, Laura. Way to go, Laura and Bella!
Bella and Del (pictured above) had a litter in Jan 07. Rosie is one of them, check her out on her own page.
Below is our biggest winner from 2006. His name is Ron, AKA CH Sonbar's Noteworthy Newsman. In June '06 he was awarded BEST OF BREED over the top basenji special in the country, at the Greater Chicagoland Basenji Specialty. Handled by Kari, in Bred-By-Exhibitor class. Ron finished his Championship the day after the Indian nations specialty, defeating over 50 class basenjis.
Daugher Ch. Sonbar's Quickwitted Quizzkid, aka Betty, finished her Ch in 09.
Here's a close up of Ron's head. We think he has one of the most beautiful heads and coats around!
Health testing update, Ron's eyes were normal and his hips "good". He is a carrier of Fanconi.
Below is Ch Sonbar's Seventh Son of Djakomba. "Sam" is from the 07 Gracie x Shadow litter. He was awarded best male in sweepstakes at the 08 nationals! He also won his class at 08 nationals. Sam finished with 4 majors. Thanks to Karen Hutchison (pictured with Sam) for handling Sam to all his wins!

Below is our keeper from the 07 Gracie x Shadow litter of two tri boys. He finished quickly, from BBE. He won 3 back to back to back majors, and finished with back to back Best of Breed wins over a special.

To the Left is Sonbar's Table Talk (Gabby). She is our keeper from the Glitter x Derby litter of 07. She won two her majors at the K.C. shows in August. She won the puppy bitch class each day at the all breed shows, after Indian Nations Specialty in October. She is from a clear x clear (Fanconi) breeding.
She won 4 points on 4-4-09 by winning a group 1 from BBE class. She also won the BBE group 1! Picture below is the hound group 1 win.
Sam is DNA clear of Fanconi. He has minor PPMs. Sonar is clear by pedigree, will have the official results, soon. He also has minor PPMs.
Here's the picture of Gabby and me winning that group 1 from the BBE class. Gabby is the 3rd generation Sonbar basenji to win a group 1. Her sire, Ch Sonbar's Phoolish Pleasure at Cumback (picture on Derby's page) and Derby's dam, Irish (pictured below) each have multiple group 1 wins.
